Sorry Mommy’s been slacking on the newsletters. Peanut+school=no time. Speaking of school, I’m just finishing up. I’m really excited to get back to just being a mom again for a while. I’m sure you’re excited to getting back to me not leaving you for a while. We still haven’t gotten very used to that (we being the important word here).
Tomorrow is Mommy’s 21st birthday. Such an important day for most youth, but Mommy has you, so there will be no partying. It’s okay though, because I don’t really like to party. We plan on going out to dinner after Mommy’s class with Daddy.
You really like Daddy. There are a lot of people you like, but you just light up when he gets home. You kick your legs and smile so big. Daddy likes you too. He plays with you and takes care of you so well. You have no idea how much we love you.
You smile all the time. You love your Grandmas and Grandpas and smile at them a lot. Grandma and Grandpa Lindstrom went away on vacation for 10 days and when they got home, you weren’t quite sure who they were, but now things are back to normal. Grandpa Randy made a funny face at you yesterday that made you cry, but then you just went right back to laughing after.
You laugh too. We thought you weren’t laughing for the longest time, but then we figured out that this weird cough-like sound you were making was your laugh. It’s truly hillarious.
You are 4 months, 2 weeks, 1 day, and 18 hours, and 15 minutes old. At your last Dr. appointment (about a week ago) you weighed 13 lbs 8 oz. You’re in the 50th percentile for weight and head circumference and the 90th for height. We’re in the process of switching you to your medium gDiapers. You’re still on bewbie milk only and loving it. You are a truly happy baby and just fun to be around.
You do hate your carseat with a passion. We’ve decided that’s one of the downsides of babywearing. Though there are many, many upsides too, so we’ll keep doing it. ^_^
We’re not going on our yearly vacation, but it’s not because of you. We’re just low on money and don’t really have time with Daddy’s internship and the fact that Daddy’s bosses (for Heebeez, not the internship) are going on vacation and need him to work a lot, then Daddy starts school. We’re talking about going back to Portland for Daddy’s fall break though. We think you and Kerri would love the ocean.
Well that’s all for now. I’ll try to remember to write you again next month. Mommy loves you!
